It's not vodka, it's slivovitz!

I just read an excellent fic by julad - McKay/Zelenka in the Atlantis fandom. It was really great and stuff... but there was this one thing that really bothered me - it's not VODKA, it's SLIVOVITZ! The Czech prefer slivovitz in each and every case. Vodka might be good - for some *queasy* - but slivovitz! That´s the right alcohol to drink when you want to celebrate.

The silent pat-pat of the rain drops on the window panes... the droplets sliding down the glass...

An echo of a shot in the dark… a silent gasp… quiet but still so loud to my ears…

A myriad of emotions…

And in the end…? Happiness… Alive… For now… Fear…
