Honestly? Not what I expected. I hoped for a powered!Stiles and wolf!Derek and got neither. Just the opposite, actually. Stiles got sidelined for most of the episode and Derek... well.

At the same time, I liked the episode. In bullet points:

-- For the first time, Derek felt... content even though both he and Cora are now omegas.
-- I liked that Allison outsmarted Scott's dad.
-- I really liked Scott in this one. I kinda disliked him at the beginning but now I think he's a great alpha.
-- I liked the friendship moments between Scott and Stiles in this one. For the first time in a long time I felt that Scott actually cared.
-- I'm glad that the parents survived.
-- I'm glad that the twins survived because that makes Lydia and Danny happy.
-- I don't mind Allison and Isaac. And I'm glad that both Scott and Stiles rose above jealousy. That's a great character growth right there.
-- Peter. Oh well, I'm not surprised. I'm pretty ambivalent about his character, though.
-- I'm glad Allison is taking an active stand.

So, even though I didn't get what I wanted, I'm pretty content with where all the characters finished this season.
