katikatYou know, I really wonder where they are headed with this. Do they actually plan for Stiles to have a nervous breakdown? I mean, he's all jittery, almost out of it, he doesn't joke as he used to, he seems really, really on the verge of simply losing it. This was the second time that he actually yelled at someone, first at Lydia, now at the coach. I really hope this has a point.
Another think I hope has a point is the Derek vs. Scott situation. I mean, they are building Scott up by tearing Derek down. Every decision Derek makes turns out to be bad so that Scott can step in and be the hero. Derek now lost his whole pack to Scott. All he has left is Peter - who would rather stab him in the back than follow his lead - and Cora - who isn’t all that enamored with what her brother turned into either. Whereas Scott’s becoming an alpha, he now has Isaac and Boyd, Allison and Stiles and even Deaton has his back, not Derek’s despite his past with the Hales. If they make Derek lose his alpha status, if he becomes a beta again - which can happen, as we were told in the past - or omega, I will be really angry. I wouldn't mind if Scott became an alpha if that meant Derek becoming something more, taking over Deucalion's place as the alpha of alphas. THAT would be cool. Why do I doubt that will happen?
One thing - I really don't mind Derek and Jennifer. I think their relationship is rather sweet, in a very... Harlequin kind of way. I'm actually interested in seeing where it's headed.
Oh, and what really bugged me in this episode? Nobody but Scott seemed to mind that Derek was dead. Not cool! :(
And you know what? I actually hope and cross my fingers that Stiles and Lydia become a couple. I didn't like this possibility in S1+2 because he was like a puppy, always running after her while she never paid the slightest attention to him - seriously, she still doesn't know he actually saved her life! But now... I love them as friends and I hope this develops further. And that one day, they actually become a couple, on equal terms, not him being head over heels and she doing him a favor, basically. Also, I'm a romantic at heart so I really hope it will be she who will take his virginity and that it will actually mean something, for both of them.
A much longer 306 promo/preview! The first promo, the short one, didn't really do it for me. But this one? SO, SO COOL! Is it next Monday already? \o/
