Haven 106-108
Jun. 20th, 2013 11:45 pmWhile re-watching these episodes, I realized just how much I disliked Jess. Not because she was Nathan's love interest, not because she encroached upon my OTP* - Nathan/Audrey (or OT3 Nathan/Audrey/Duke) - but because she was bland and almost... unlikable? Maybe it was the actress - a really bad actress! In the audio commentary, the writers said they had planned on killing her in the last episode of her arc but the higher uppers nixed the idea as too dark. I wish they had killed her. As it was, she left because she couldn't deal with what was happening in Haven and Nathan proved to be not enough for her to stick around. Eh. Just... eh.
* In S3, Jordan came between Nathan and Audrey and I didn't mind, I liked her... despite what she did at the end.
The funniest thing? The writers trying to figure out if Nathan could even get it up when he couldn't feel anything. LOL, they even admitted to behaving like 7th-graders, that they all wanted to know how Nathan's inability to feel would influence "that" XD Gosh. And when one of the writers admitted he ran screaming when he saw the sex scene between Nathan and Jess because Lucas Bryant was his good friend and that scene was like coming across a friend's sex-tape by mistake, embarrassment all around, LOL!
