Guilty Pleasures...

katikatI have one guilty pleasure - South American and Mexican telenovelas. On the one hand, I think they are kind of stupid, but on the other hand, I just can't stop watching them.
My recent obsession is Mi Gorda Bella which you can translate as My Fat Beauty. It's a really great series with lotsa beautiful people, theatrical gestures and overdone grimaces that make one smile and even laugh. Right now, Valentine figured out that Orestes is Silver Lilly, the thief, and she is mad like hell at him for deceiving her even though she pretended to be someone else too *grin* So cheesy, but so fun too :P Poor poor Orestes though "One of my sisters is in an asylum, the other likes to strip in a bar. My father is lame, lying in a hospital, and my mother is a whore." Yikes, poor boy ;)
