katikatI'm watching the show on DVD, listening to the audio commentaries. And they are excellent, the people actually explain things about the show. Like...
Did you know that the episode order changed after they were done filming and they had to cut out bits and pieces here and there and shuffle them from one episode to another? And that it was really expensive?
That Lucas Bryant is actually a very animated guy who is not at all like his character? And that the writers have a special "Nathan speak", basically writing down his lines, then knocking off words and adding a lot of dashes? And that Lucas makes fun of them because of that?
That they really like the chemistry among their leads? That they just love to watch them together?
That there is a lot of discussion about Audrey's hair going on? That they had to buy real hair extensions when they had to re-shoot stuff?
That they were picked up for a series without having a pilot filmed? Or even a SCRIPT written? That they were given a season order based on how much they loved the characters?
I could go on and on and on, there's so much cool info in the audio commentaries. If you like the show, do buy the DVDs, folks. The box set is really worth it!
