The Sting is quite a slashy movie, isn't it? Henry and Johnny, the look they gave each other once the con was done, them leaving together... That was wonderful. Just like the part where Henry knew about the assassin and sent his guy to protect Johnny, the way he was sitting up all night, worrying about Johnny, and his relieved look in the morning, when his guy brought Johnny back safe and sound... Man, Paul Newman and Robert Redford had such a beautiful chemistry, it was off the charts. They made the film. And gosh, were they gorgeous in it or what?
And did I mention how slashy the movie was? Just... I thought it needed repeating! I wonder if there are any Henry/Johnny fics out there...
