Lost book..

katikatOkay, I lost a book. Err, no, actually, I lost a summary on Amazon... Hm, that doesn't sound right either, but... well...
It was fantasy book. The main hero was somewhere, doing something (wow, how enlightening ;P) when he found out that his best friend and lover (male) is under siege in some castle. So, he rushed off to save him with his mystical powers. Three books in total. At the end of the third book, he married this friend of his plus other people and built an extended sorta family that was common in this world.
Not much, huh? But I really need to find out the title of this book. Can someone help me?
