My linked review is in Czech because I praised the wonderful Czech translation. But here I have to ask - is it just me or is this story incredibly slashy? I mean, the knight asks Gawain to give him exactly what Gawain receives during the knight's absence at the castle in exchange for everything the party catches in the woods during their hunt - and Gawain is kissed by the knight's wife. And so Gawain kisses the knight. One kiss on the first day, two kisses on the second day and three on the third day, gentle, lingering kisses, not some pecks on the cheek. I mean, what? Is it just me and my slashy goggles?
