9 min. Star Trek preview

katikatA handful of lucky journalists already got the chance to see the 9 min. long preview of Star Trek 2 that will be attached to The Hobbit in IMAX. And though they were asked to keep their reviews spoiler-free, some of them are actually pretty spoiler-filled. I skipped over those parts, I don't want to be spoiled for the actual movie, thank you very much. Trailers are one thing, these previews something else completely.
But! I loved this non-spoilery bit:
Benedict Cumberbatch awesome bit aside - and he will definitely steal the show! - the whole thing with Kirk and Bones made me very, very happy. I hope it's not just the first 9 min., that we will get more of their camaraderie throughout the movie! If they keep it pretty much Kirk/Bones & Spock/Uhura - as it was in the first movie - both slash fans and het fans will be happy.
But! I loved this non-spoilery bit:
The stuff with Kirk and McCoy is very funny, and a nice reminder of just how strong the chemistry is with this cast. Same with the stuff between Uhura and Spock.
