... when I have some free time on my hands. And what did I do? I changed the background on my LJ. What do you think? The pic of Tomomasa and Takamichi was altered with Adobe Photoshop 4.

but perhaps it is me but i cant figure out how to change the backdrop of LJ, you couldn't be an absolute star and explain it to me could you, please, selects most pathetic icon for use.

Maybe I can help. I customized my LJ by setting the system to S1 in the "customize" section of "manage". There you'll find this blank field where you have to cut and past a special code. I use this one:

GLOBAL_HEAD<=

<=GLOBAL_HEAD

And most of the work is done. You just need to change the colors and add pictures and stuff like that :) For the background pic you have to upload the picture somewhere and then cut and past the URL into this code.

I have the percentage set to 71:29 and the pic I use is 300x768 big.

Does it help? If you have further questions, just ask. My friend had to guide me through it step by step the first time I tried it :)
