Patrick Stewart in the XMFC sequel?

Lately, Patrick Stewart has been teasing his return as Prof. Charles Xavier in the XMFC sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past: source. And considering the storyline of the comic book on which this movie is based, it wouldn't be a surprise. And it would also fit my idea that it'll be Charles who will send his consciousness back in time to save mutantkind, not Kitty Pryde. That would be all kinds of rocking awesome!
