Shadowboxer is a 2005 movie starring Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding Jr. as mob assassins. And also JGL as the mob doctor. I clicked through it but once again, my favorite actors' characters - JGL and Helen Mirren's - kick it and in a quite brutal way too. Not something I'll be getting on DVD. But!

I have to admire the open-mindedness of the portrayed relationships. Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding Jr. play lovers. Not only is it an interracial romance - of which there should be much more out there, IMHO! - but she's also much older than he which makes it even more interesting. JGL's Doc is also in an interracial relationship with Precious, played by Mo'Nique. That part I really, really loved.

And! Joseph Gordon-Levitt was gorgeous, literally BEAUTIFUL in this movie...
