I will say it only once

Okay, I will talk about this only once and then never again because I think it's a disgusting thing, what the internet can do and what some people accept as truth based on nothing but rumors.
As you know, Michael Fassbender was cast in the Assassin's Creed movie - which immediately brought the crazies out of the woodwork and once more rumors about him started circulating. Rumors about him being an abuser, that he beat up his ex-girlfriend pretty bad and that he was never charged because he was white and she was black.
Bollocks!
"Regarding the case on Fassbender, LA county Steve Cooley continued the investigation after Andrew's charges were dropped. Two unnamed witnesses were interviewed by victim services of LA county. DA. Cooley concluded, no evidence appeared in statute to require any investigation against the german born-irish actor. The actor gave a ICO.8 statement and no charges were filed."
This is an excerpt from an article posted by the Irish Mail on Sunday. The article isn't available anymore because the newspaper revamped their whole web site and changed the way they post stuff. But the article did exist and I read it with my very own eyes! The DISTRICT ATTORNEY himself ordered the whole thing dismissed because victim services didn't find any proof. Not just NOT ENOUGH proof, but ANY proof. Nada. Zip. NOTHING AT ALL that would support her claims. It wasn't just her dropping the charges, an independent investigation didn't find anything at all!
So, STOP THE FUCKING RUMORS! Unless you think that Michael Fassbender, the District Attorney and the victim services were all in cahoots together or that the victim services don't know how to do their fucking job, stuff it and go screw a donkey! Yes, I'm enraged to the point of seeing red. Because there's victim blaming but then there's mindless slander.
Personally, I did not like the tone of said article because it did smack of victim blaming. What they insinuated was so very, very wrong. The fact that the woman was a porn star shouldn't have had any impact on how the case was handled because everybody regardless of their occupation deserves justice - but the tone of said article aside, the facts as pointed above are "hard facts", no rumors, no insinuations but cold hard facts: There is not a shred of evidence anywhere that Michael Fassbender ever hurt his ex-girlfriend.
But this person says it more eloquently than me: In response to Michael Fassbender abuse accusations...
