I started watching The Hobbit production diaries. So far, there are 7 of them and I watched 4 today.
Vid 1: Pre-production - In this vid, there's the Maori welcoming ceremony and Martin Freeman looking quite awful in a pale blue jacket. Ouch!
Vid 2: Location scouting - 5 helicopters? Wow!
Vid 3: Everybody's favorite scene - BTS stuff from Martin and Andy Serkis' filming the riddle scene.
Vid 4: Filming in 3D - the explanation of how a 3D camera actually works was quite interesting.
Sheesh on a pogo stick. When you watch a movie, you wouldn't even guess that SO MUCH stuff needs to be done for it to look the way it does. I'm getting mighty excited about this movie, seeing Gandalf and Elrond and Galadriel and LEGOLAS again! And Martin Freeman as Bilbo, of course!
