Brian Dietzen AKA Jimmy Palmer on NCIS has been made a series regular for S10: link. I like him well enough though I'm not fannishly obsessed with him - I was rather miffed when they dropped the storyline with Tony and Jimmy as super sekrit BFFs - but after 8 years on the show, I think he more than deserves it!

I stopped watching years ago but the idea of Tony and Jimmy as secret BFF's is gold:D

They were, for a couple of episodes, when Gibbs resigned and Tony became the leader of the team. The pressure of always having to be right turned out to be too much for him, so when he needed to talk, he would go to Palmer. They would meet in the stairwell or somewhere like that and just talk. I have no idea why TPTB dropped that storyline. It was great.

I am glad he is a regular.. now.. what happened to Ducky???

AFAIK, Ducky is still the main coroner but with his having a heart attack or a stroke in the season finale, I think Jimmy will take over most of his duties.
