How I didn't go to the cinema today

katikatWe had our regular get-together today, me and the twins, and we wanted to go and see something in the cinema again! The last thing we saw together was Sherlock Holmes: The Game of Shadows (they then went and saw The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo without me, I had no interest, to be honest). We already had to pass on Underworld 4 and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy because of weird airing times... And the curse continued today!
This time, we had to pass on This Means War and Haywire. Darn it. The only film they aired when the three of us had time was John Carter and yeah, we didn't like the trailer much - well, actually at all :-/ Taylor Kitsch is sweet and I loved him in The Covenant and Wolverine but, IMHO, he doesn't have enough charisma to carry a movie on his own. When you see, for example, Michael Fassbender, when you see him as Magneto... wow, he's breathtaking, arresting even! Taylor Kitsch is cute but not a lead material, I think.
But! Not all was lost - I bought The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy , the movie with Martin Freeman! They had it for 99Kc only! Awesome. I think I know what I'll be doing tonight.
