Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?
Once Upon a Time. Tried a few episodes, didn't like it, end of story. Of the old ones, Bones.
Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011? Why?
Sanctuary. Simply didn't get around to it. Maybe next year.
Which TV shows do you intend to check out in 2012?
Of the old ones? Aplenty. New ones? Common Law, definitely.
Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
NCIS:LA. Most of the time, I was like "O_o Seriously? No, seriously?!" Closely followed by NCIS and Fringe.
Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
Covert Affairs. I'm still only halfway through S2 because it's boring. Not even Auggie is worth this torture.
Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why?
Merlin with its first few episodes - until they borked it with Gwen's martyrdom. Grimm overall.
Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Supernatural and White Collar. Because of Sam&Dean and Peter&Neal respectively.
Your main fandom of the year?
XMFC, hands down.
Your favorite film you watched this year?
XMFC, hands down - again. Closely followed by M:I4: Ghost Protocol. And Fast Five.
Your favorite tv show of the year?
Hm, all of them had flaws, but shows that I had to watch ASAP? Supernatural. And Haven.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
James McAvoy! Thanks to him, I discovered the beauty that's Leto and Ghanima in Children of Dune.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The absolute prickliness of the XMFC fans. Wow, I thought Supernatural fans were touchy. Yeesh. Show-wise, Merlin - an excellent start, a completely borked ending.
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
NCIS and Merlin and their season premieres. TBBT and Amy Farrah Fowler.
The most missed of your old fandoms?
Supernatural overall. I pulled back from the fandom completely because of the incessant complaints, they were harshing my squee.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
The second half of White Collar's S3. Supernatural's 617 and up. Common Law. And lotsa, lotsa movies!
