So many wonderful family scenes! \o/
I loved the first scene with Dean, Sam and Bobby, when they discussed the Jersey Devil. It seemed so... intimate and family-like. Sam being the geek, Bobby being... well, wise and snarky at the same time, Dean being just snarky. I loved the way it was filmed, with Dean lying on the sofa, grumbling...
High!Dean was great. Jensen played that part fantastically. I loved it when he hopped up on the counter and kept going on about how he was fine feeling zip interest in what was going on, how he was feeling great for the first time in months, what with Cas and the Leviathan... And seeing this scene, I don't get how anybody can think that Dean doesn't care about Cas being gone. Seriously! The boy's a mess!
And the scene in the car, with Sam asking if Dean was okay, all worried, discussing Dean's issues with Bobby and Bobby's exasperation, telling Sam that he and Dean, all they do is worry about each other...
And the Dean and Bobby scene. "If you die before me, I'll kill you." Aww... He loves both boys but Dean has always had a special place in Bobby's heart.
Dean's fatalistic POV was quite interesting and I could actually see where he was coming from. Them saving the world over and over again really does feel like trying to stop someone determined to commit suicide. Where's the point you say enough is enough?
And the ending!!!
All the "dick" puns were quite hilarious. The Rise of Dick. Dick's coming. LOL! Oh, Ben Edlund...
And Dean looked exceptionally good in this episode:
