I actually cried watching this episode. Honest to God waterfall and a runny nose and all the hijinks! ;_;
Lancelot's death was so incredibly, terribly sad. His scenes with Merlin were so sweet and then... *sniff* I wouldn't have believed I would actually cry watching it but I did... Oh my! I mean, I know that Lancelot had to leave the show because Santiago Cabrera got a part in JJ Abrams' Alcatraz, still... What a shame ;_;
I loved Merlin's recovery, the water sprites healing him, that was wonderfully done. It felt really magical. And I loved him talking about what was most important for him. For Merlin, it was Arthur's life. For Lancelot, it was Gwen's happiness...
Arthur was so happy that Merlin was okay. I really loved the head-rub and then the two of them talking. Merlin really is the one person Arthur can be completely honest with, isn't he?
Gwaine as the butt of everybody's joke - well, he was asking for it, wasn't he? And then all of the knights just sticking together!
And the scene where Arthur was willing to abandon the quest to save Merlin, that was awesome. Arthur's apology! Percival - and then later on Lancelot - carrying Merlin... Aww!
Also, wow at the music! It's kind of amazing this season!
