NCIS:LA 301
Sep. 21st, 2011 09:21 pmCallen was really bad-ass in this one! Actually, the whole team was bad-ass!
I loved the part where Sam asked Callen about his plan and Callen was all "Let's kill them all!" And the rest of the team was all "Okay, let's do it!" I think that's the difference between NCIS and NCIS:LA, that they can do that without damaging/destroying the characters because this team might be NCIS, but they are not investigators, they are undercover agents and soldiers first and foremost.
I wonder how Hetty is connected to Callen's mother. Maybe she was her aunt? Or mother? Or maybe she knew Callen's father and promised him to take care of his wife and children? Intriguing!
And I loved the scenes between Sam and Callen, when Sam sent Kensi and Deeks away so that Callen could talk freely. That was lovely!
I loved the new opening credits, it's great that everybody's in it now!

Date: 2011-09-21 11:17 pm (UTC)Much Ado was made about Callen's inability to trust, well, anyone because of his past and that pretty much the only exceptions have been Sam and Hetty (and possibly Gibbs, but we'd need more info to go either way). So this has to be a pretty epic level of Not On with him.
I want to see either her offering the explanation and Callen deciding not to go ape shit because he wants the info OR Callen going apeshit! I totally get that Hetty was protecting him, but he's almost 40 now and he has a gun. I'm thinking he's thinking he's past being protected.
