XMFC: favorite scenes 22

I just love, no, adore this scene. First Charles pulls Erik back into the plane, then Erik drapes himself all over Charles to protect him from the plane's rolling and Charles grips his wrist to not flail around and then Erik lowers them both down gently while Charles has an arm wrapped around Erik's neck. Aww... Seriously, aww! Every time I see this scene, I want to just squee and roll in the pretty! \o/

This was the moment I fell in love with the movie and never looked back *melts into a puddle'o'happiness*

This is without doubt my favourite scene in the movie *sigh* I love it, I adore it, I want to marry it and have its babies *flail*

Yes, it shows just how much Erik cares about Charles - that makes the scene on the beach all the more painful. He wanted to protect Charles and ended up crippling him ;_;

I loved how protective Erik became about Charles, all he wanted to do was save him and ended up hurting him in the most tragic way possible...both emotionally and physically :(

James was incredible during the scene where Erik kills Shaw, you could see that he could feel everything Shaw was feeling, how could Erik now have known that!?

He forced Charles to help him kill a man, he must have known what that would do to Charles? Forcing him to decide between holding Shaw and letting Erik kill him, or freeing Shaw and watching him kill Erik? :(

I really felt for Charles, all he wanted to do was help people and save lives and he ended up killing and destroying :(

Exactly! When you imagine how much he lost by the end of the movie, it's heartbreaking. He helped to kill a man and felt him die, he lost his illusions, he lost the use of his legs, he lost Raven, he lost Erik and he had to go into hiding from the CIA. Ouch. No wonder James wants to see Charles a bit broken in the next movie. It's a wonder Charles as a telepath even stayed sane.

And the scene with the coin was amazing. The way Charles braced himself for it... James was amazing!
