Supernatural 621+622
May. 21st, 2011 10:54 amI'm shocked that they actually went there... 80
Ouch. So, Cas went darkside completely. I wonder if it's really him or if it's the juice talking, like Dean said. I loved that even after all that, Dean tried to talk some sense into Cas, that he tried to convince him to let the power go, to come back to them because he didn't want to lose him too. And only when THAT didn't work, they tried to kill him.
Castiel turned quite chilling in the end, so dark and creepy... I wonder if he will be the Willow of SPN, you know, she also went dark and was saved in the end. But the ending, together with this (spoilers for season 7 casting!) makes me think he will be the big bad of S7... I wouldn't mind, if they just save him at the end, you know? Dark Cas would make for great angst.
And I didn't mind that Lisa and Ben got mind-wiped. I'm glad that storyline is over.
I loved the way Sam's wall came tumbling down - I didn't like that it was Cas who tore it down, but I liked the way they did it. And that it's not over yet, that Sam still gets flashbacks. And that he returned because he didn't want to leave his brother alone out there. Aww...
And I can't believe that Cas killed Balthazar. On the other hand, Cas is now a god, so he can bring him back. But Crowley survived! YAY!
I'm sure that the finale will stir a lot of emotion, but if you didn't like it, don't tell me. I did, I liked the storyline and I'm fascinated by the direction the show took, so don't rain on my parade.
