Ultimately, a let-down, sorry to say. Everything pointed towards a big showdown and then, bang-bang and that was it? Didn't understand the logic of P2P grabbing EJ and letting her go, only to grab her again. Seriously? It felt as if the finale ran too short and they had to up the minutes. I know that they explained it, that P2P wanted to get inside the NCIS headquarters. But why? He could've achieved THE SAME RESULTS by grabbing EJ and sending SecNav a ransom note. Meh.

The only really good thing was the ending, Tony receiving another undercover assignment - unfortunately, I think he'll be ordered to follow EJ so once more, it will be "Tony dating his mark" *sigh* Lather, rinse, repeat? I mean, I don't mind when a show steals ideas from another show but to repeat a plot already played? Really? Well, at least we get some Tony centered storyline, right?

Loved it. Hetty was protecting Callen! I wonder what the Cumescu thing is about. Is Hetty actually Callen's family? Is Callen a Cumescu too? And the matriarch, was it the actress who played mother Petrelli?

The action was awesome but my favorite scene was when the whole team backed Callen up and walked out together with him. Man, that was amazing! Can you imagine them as a band of mercenaries? Wouldn't that be hot? I just love the team in action.

I need to watch it again, but I'm pretty sure Callen isn't a Comescu, but he's from the other crime family. Hetty comes to Mama Comsescu with Callen's death certificate and says something like, "That family you've been at war with... well, here's the death certificate of the last one. It's ALL over."

Which means that Callen will have a family history now, but no actual family still.

Hm, the thing is, I wonder if Hetty will end up being Callen's family...

I think that, in all the ways that matter, she has been for years.

Biologically speaking, I don't think she will be.

Hm, maybe she was a part of Cumescu's killing crew, maybe as a secret agent, and saved him back then?

[waldo]

Ooh, I can totally see her as grabbing the kid and smuggling him out to save him from the life of being in a mob war. And then losing track of him for a while and not being able to make sure he got a better upbringing than he would have gotten in Romania.

(And can I just say that I really do love the idea of G being Romani?)
