Watching The Magnificent Seven made me want to re-read some westerns. Hm, what to choose...
I guess Zane Grey's "Forlorn River" and "Nevada", my favorite books of his. Zane Grey had a way with characters. I didn't care for historical accuracy or whatever, he just really knew how to write compelling characters. And the two main guys in these two books? Bromance, peeps! Bromance!
Or maybe Julie Garwood's "Roses" series? Yeah, yeah, it's a historical romance, but the Clayborns? I just want to cuddle them silly! All the Clayborn boys, despite not being brothers by blood, are such... brothers! \o/ I just adore the series.
So, is anyone on my flist into westerns? I mean books. I love them because they often contain strong bromances. Any suggestions?
