Star Trek Reboot

katikatMe and my mom, we watched ST:Reboot tonight. She loved it. She watches ST:TNG but she isn't a huge fan of the ST franchise so most of the shout-outs and quirks went past her, but she liked the movie on its own merits.
And once more I realized just how awesome Karl Urban's Bones was. Man, I'm now filled with glee again and I want to read more Kirk/Bones fics because those two are simply adorable together. I loved how sharply the lines were drawn in the movie: it was Kirk and Bones in one corner and Spock and Uhura in the other. Neat!
I really love the movie and I can't wait for the sequel. 2012? It's so far away...
