TV tropes of the NCIS variety

So, last night, I was surfing the TV Tropes web site and reading about the application of said tropes on various TV shows. My favorite - and the most detailed on the site, it looks - is NCIS. The funniest thing?

Papa Wolf + Understatement = Gibbs

LOL! Yes, Gibbs does tend to react rather... fiercely when one of his team members is threatened/in danger/hurt. And boy, is "fierce" an understatement! Remember SWAK? When he pulled a gun at the scientist and threatened to shoot him if he didn't tell him how to save Tony? And Gibbs would actually do it! See sniper!Gibbs in 701!

And I loved this Ziva part:

Berserk Button: Beat the crap out of Ziva, she's okay with it. Shoot at her... fine. But don't, don't call her "Ma'am", and never ever hurt Tony...

LOL! And that's why I love Tony/Ziva so much. Not only is Ziva kick-ass, she is very protective of Tony! Man, I hope that these two get together in the end! (I do prefer Gibbs/Tony slash in fics but I'm not naive enough to think it would ever happen on the show!)

So, basically, this entry was about HOW MUCH I LOVE NCIS!

Wow, they didn't even mention how close he was to disemboweling Senor whats-his-face from Mexico in the bulpen when he threatened Abby? Now THAT was scary papa!Gibbs.

There were many Abby!examples on that web, but I'm a bit tired of her being threatened all the time, that's why I used the Tony and Ziva examples :)
