NCIS: LA 203
Sep. 29th, 2010 04:54 pmI can't believe how much I like the Kensi&Deeks and Sam&G show. It's perfect now that Kensi has a partner of her own!
I loved that the female marine wasn't turned into a wimpy girl just because she was pregnant. And I'm also glad that the leader of the unit wasn't a murderer, that would've disappointed me :(
Loved the kick-boxing scene at the very beginning. And the fact that G trusted Sam enough to let him pick up his discarded false identity.
I LOL'd watching the scenes with Kensi and Deeks. It was so funny when Deeks started to stutter while trying to avoid mentioning the fact that Sam was black, ha! Yes, it's not easy to stay politically correct. And when he called his own complexion "ivory"! XD

Date: 2010-09-29 03:48 pm (UTC)And like you, I like the K/D and S/G thing going on. And that Sam and G were just *not* having him step between them. I love that Kensi ran rings around him on the bikes and in the desert. I love that the 'weakest' character is not the girl, and that even though he's been around on and off for a while, they're so clearly not done hazing him. (And I love that he flirts, over-the-toply with Kensi and she bitch slaps him back down each and every time. It's cute without actually becoming inappropriate or creepy.)
Deeks is much more functional as a partner than Dom ever was, but I do love that they know that he still isn't up to NCIS par, and they'll take the piss out of him whenever they get the chance. He's such a drama queen that he makes it pretty easy. (I was almost eaten by a snake in 8th grade! Oh noez!)

Date: 2010-09-29 04:13 pm (UTC)I'm so glad that Sam and G are having more scenes together. I missed them during the 2nd half of S1. And the fact that they train together kinda tickles me happy.
I wonder where Nate has gone. To Iraq?

I think Nate was going to Afghanistan. I'm not sure why I thought that over Iraq (maybe because the US isn't actively engaged - theoretically - in combat activity in Iraq any more, but is in Afghanistan.
