The scenes that were deleted from the US pilot? I took a few screencaps, if anyone's interested...




Peter's going through Neal's papers in prison - and learns that Neal's inmates loved him.


Peter finds out that Neal won a cruise.


Neal asks Peter to keep the bottle for him.


Neal's brought to the visiting room again.


And sees the bottle...


... that Peter brought.


Neal finds out that Peter decided to take him on his offer.


Neal asks Peter why he agreed to do it.


Peter says, because El thinks that Neal's a romantic.


The guy at the motel has an anklet too, go figure.


June helps Neal try out some of the suits, they need to be adjusted in the shoulders.




Peter and Neal bicker all the way outside - yes, Peter hates the hat!

You're welcome. I was surprised when I saw that it was the longer version. The scenes made the pilot run smoother and explained some future things - like, how Neal got his hands on the bottle again.

All the broadcast in our country is digital. I simply recorded it using my set-top box and a USB stick, then uploaded the file to my computer and made the screencaps. Unfortunately, the file is in Czech, so it wouldn't be any use for English speaking people.

And yes, the added scenes really did... add to it and smoothed some rough edges :)

Oh, I think you underestimate what fans will watch. Heck, I'd love to see it in a foreign language. And I'm sure I could read lips well enough to catch a good amount of dialog - I'd love to see these scenes in action!

Oh my Goddd why weren't these in the US version?! Or at least put in as deleted scenes on the DVD. -pouts- So unfair.

I second that. I'd love to see these scenes! In any language! I think it'd be fun to hear what Peter, Neal and everyone else sounds like after they've been dubbed.
I went to a Nikita convention once a long time ago and they brought in the people who did the Italian dubbing for the show. It was fascinating to learn about the process. It can be very difficult and often thankless too.
