It was a good episode, but again I felt that they down-played the emotional impact of it. In the S2 premiere, Neal admitted to Peter that he wanted to stay in Out of the Box - but it was used to push forward the episodic plot which totally ruined the moment. Here, Neal and Moz were in the hangar and instead of milking it for what it was worth - a flashback to the explosion maybe? - the guard came in and they totally tangled themselves up in their false identities. That was a missed opportunity right there, unfortunately.

Sara Ellis... I'm unsure about. Yes, she kicks major ass, but... I think that the writers tried just way too hard to make her make a huge splash from the get-go. It felt... forced. The restaurant scene where she got back the stolen car? It felt like she invited them there to show off. There were so many ways Peter and Neal could have gotten there without her inviting them - like, her office told them where she went or something. Also, Neal felt really... meek and... false when he was with her. Maybe it was the fact that he wanted something from her, but honestly, I didn't like Neal's persona when he was with her.

Stuff I loved:
* When Peter grabbed Neal's hand and explained how the tracker in the watch worked.
* When Sara assured Peter that Neal was unharmed and he was all "I prefer him that way."
* Neal playing assassin.

I don't know why but to me it feels like the show lost the charm of season 1 or even the season 2 premiere. Neal and Peter have barely any scenes together, it's not about them anymore, it's about this or that character, this or that plot, like Neal's just one of Peter's agents. The... organic part, I guess, of their relationship, what made them special, dwindled away. The whole season so far feels like S1's Threads - a handful of good scenes, but the rest is forgettable :(

I didn't like Sara at all. She came across as way too bitchy for me. She reminds me a lot of Bela.

Hehe, I'm glad that it wasn't me who said it first ;) Yeah, I hated the eye-rolling and her demeaning way towards to Neal. It reminded me so much of the way Bela behaved towards Dean.

Hehe, I didn't even know that he had a girlfriend until someone pointed it out to me. They have a child together, right?
