Stuff I loved:

* Annie. Just Annie in general. Love her. So resourceful - loved the way she macgyvered the gas-leak.

* Auggie!!! Loved the scene where he taught Annie how to fight. And him doing all the tech stuff!

Stuff I'm unsure about:

* Annie's family life. Doesn't work for me. Like In Plain Sight's Mary's family life. The story would be better without it.

* Sendhil Ramamurthy's A.J. - so far, he didn't really make an impression on me.

Stuff I don't like:

* The head-honchos' marriage. Boring. Boring. Boring. Move on!

Annie and Auggie are definitely the best part of this show. Especially the scene where he's showing her some moves? I just want them to be BFFs forever and gossip together whilst kicking ass. <3 And the beginning with the walk-ins? Ha! Reminded me a bit of that ep of The West Wing with, what's it called, the Big Wheel of Cheese Day with the crazies?

Annie's family life does feel a bit forced, but there's really so little of it (unlike In Plain Sight, when some eps were basically 75% family issues and 25% actual case) that I don't mind it. And I'm just waiting for her sister (er, does the sister have a name? I just call her not!Amber in my head) to find out what Annie does and freak out.

Sendhil Ramamurthy! I was so surprised to see him, since I don't generally read spoilers. But his character's rather forgettable, and his plotline of spying on them (or...whatever?), I group with the head honchos' marriage, which I don't really care about beyond the fact that Joan is played by Kari Matchett, who I've loved since Nero Wolfe.

I'm just glad Annie and Auggie are so awesome that they make up for the lack of awesome in the rest of the cast.

Annie and Auggie are the best part of the show. They could reduce the cast by half and give Annie and Auggie more time together and the show would be perfect. I think that's what I love about White Collar so much - it's pretty much Peter and Neal or about Peter and Neal all the time.

That's true about White Collar, but not to the same extent as Covert Affairs, since WhiCo does still have some awesome other characters: El, Mozzie, Diana, June...
