White Collar 202
Jul. 21st, 2010 01:38 pm* I actually really liked the plot of this one, the con Neal started spinning with the stadium and the park. It was so good that he conned even Mozzie!
* Peter's look when he realized that Neal didn't finish high school. And that he has never lied to Peter. Both admissions pretty much floored Peter.
* Diana is so hot. And literally kick-ass. I loved that she saved herself, that she didn't need Peter's help. And how calmly she agreed to play a prostitute.
* Loved the phone call between Peter and El - and her reaction to the escort service's web announcement. Ha! The CGI was still really bad, though.
* Peter and Mozzie. They are hilarious together. I also loved that Mozzie accepted that Peter's a good guy and that he does whatever he can to protect Neal - even though Neal doesn't think he needs protecting.
* The mustache!
Good episode. Definitely not their best, but a good one. I would have preferred more Peter and Neal scenes and a little more grieving Neal. I think he got over his grief way too fast.
Okay, is it just me or did Tim DeKay really compare the relationship between Peter and Neal and their unresolved trust issues to a love story in this interview? Link. Beware of vague spoilers for S2!

Date: 2010-07-21 02:20 pm (UTC)I don't know if I agree about Neal getting over his grief too fast. I think he's still grieving but it's getting bottled up or channeled into his FBI work, and that at some point he's going to crack. It'll be beautiful.

Date: 2010-07-22 02:14 am (UTC)The stadium thing was amazing, and I love Mozzie and the scenes with Mozzie and Peter. Can you imagine what Cruz's reaction would've been to that request? And then taking Neal to the room? I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love Diana!
Oh, gods, the mustache! XD
