Isn't Green Lantern's costume simply amazing? Ryan Reynolds looks gorgeous in it. I can't wait to see this movie! *bounces*

I've seen many "purists" criticize the costume, that it doesn't look enough like the comic book one. But some stuff just can't be transferred from a drawn picture onto the big screen, it would look ridiculous. I really don't get the "purists" *shakes head*

I mean, if everything was kept intact, we would see this on Smallville...



... instead of this.



And I very much prefer Ollie the way he is - it's close enough, but it's not a carbon copy!

Hehe, that was my reaction. And isn't Ollie gorgeous? I love that the producers milk his looks for what it's worth and let him parade around half-naked a LOT!

Oh, wow, that looks super-awesome! And the costume looks great and enough like his original that people need to calm the hell down. I mean, really, if movies demanded the original costumes, then Wolverine would've been in yellow spandex, and even Hugh Jackman couldn't pull that off. Purists are always going to complain, no matter what.

Green Lantern is actually one of those comics I've been considering reading because the premise sounds so interesting. I mean, the Corps is basically the space police force! :D

I got my hands on Green Lantern: Rebirth - which is about Hal Jordan's return from the dead - so I think I'll read that one, just to know what it's about :P
