None other than John Schneider is set to return to the series in Season 10, reprising his role as Clark's adoptive human father, Jonathan Kent.

Obviously Jonathan's return raises some questions, given that the character died back in Season 5. I can't reveal yet the how and why of Jonathan's appearance, but I can tell you that we'll see him in the season premiere, entitled "Lazarus." Link.

Okay, that? I didn't expect. Jonathan? For real? Well, I would very much prefer Lex, but knowing that Michael Rosenbaum steadfastly refuses to come back, I don't hold much hope. Oh well...

I hope and cross my fingers so tight that Lex returns. Pleasepleaseplease, just for one ep, even one scene. I just want Lex back, for him to be there when Clark becomes Superman. I mean, you can't have Superman without Lex Luthor!

From how I understand it, John Schneider will be in ep 1001 and in at least one more...
