SV and SPN's return date

According to Ausiello, Smallville and Supernatural will return on Sept. 24 - on my birthday!

What I would like to see in both series...

SV S10:
* The return of Lex - hopefully with Michael Rosenbaum playing him *crosses fingers tight* - or at least an explanation for how he survived and if he still remembers what Clark is! I don't want him to be a clone or AU!Lex or something like that.
* More Clark/Lois! My favorite Clark and Lois of all times, they rock together!
* I want the last scene of the series to be Clark and Lex, even from a distance, as Superman and his nemesis - because that's what defines the whole Superman mythos, you can't have Superman without Lex Luthor!

SPN S6:
* Brothers! I need Sam and Dean to be brothers again. Sam&Dean against the world!
* I want Lisa to die, I don't want Dean moaning about how he has a wife and a kid at home the whole season long.
* I want more Castiel and Castiel/Dean interaction!
* And I need a really creepy and dark and scary season arc, not ugly and gory, really creepy and scary!
* Oh, and urban legends. I love demons and angels their shenanigans, but I would love to see creatures like wendigos or ghosts again!

What are your hopes for the upcoming season?

Hm, my hopes for SPN...

I love Bobby and Cas and Crowley and Gabe. I'd like to see them brought back and used in clever ways. Same with the boys' grandfather. (I'm not terribly worried about this. I have faith it'll be done well.)

If it's the last season, I'd like to see the guys end up together, not with spouses or anything like that. For me, the show has always been about their relationship with each other. I'd like to see them come full circle and get back to the way they were in season 1.

I'd like more classic rock music. SPN has always been great with that. ^_^

I totally agree. I want the boys together on the road when the show ends, not settled with spouses and kids. That's just not... them. And I would hate to see it end that way :(

Isn't Erica Durance the best Lois ever? Finally a Lois that's spunky but not obnoxious. And I love it that she and Clark have a history, that she knew him before Metropolis, before Daily Planet, before Superman...

Ha, Sam and Dean having sex in the Impala? That would give the higher-uppers a heartattack. Remember when grandpa had to kiss Mary under YED's influence? Ha!

I don't watch Smallville, but after reading Ausiello's article I'd be in heaven if they'd cast Joe Flanigan as Christian!
And I second the desire to have them be "brothers" again.

I read about Christian too and it made me curious. You know what I love about male guest stars? 99.9% of the time they are NOT love interests - at least not for other male actors ;P But whenever a girl is introduced, she's always a "potential love interest." Ick.

I don't want Lisa to die, if only because then Ben would be an orphan. :( I think everything seems to point to Dean not being happy with Lisa anyway, I mean the final scene of the finale was at an unspecified time and Dean was more of of a guest in the house than anything else.

I second the hope for Sam&Dean brotherness. <3 I also second Castiel/Dean interaction, because hee, dorky angel!

I want Lisa to die - so that the situation in the pilot isn't repeated the whole season long, you know Sam's "Dean, I have to get back to Jessica" protests. One ep was enough. I wouldn't want to watch that week in, week out, Dean being all "I don't want to hunt, I want to go back to Lisa and Ben" :(

And Sam-n-Dean! And Castiel! Those things always make me happy.

I want there to be more of an explanation of why Sam escaped rather than God or Cas did it. I want a detailed 'why' and 'how' Sam might have changed by his time in hell, especially if there's a time jump.

Ben to be Dean's son. I'd like to see some reason Dean and Sam have to protect him--preferably without Lisa involved.

I don't want Lisa to be there on S6 either but I'd rather have Dean leaving her because he wants to, not because she dies. Not sure how he's going to do that though, what with his promise to Sam and all.

And that's exactly why I would love to see her die - yeah, I'm kinda bloodthirsty ;P - because I just don't see Dean leaving her, not after making a commitment.
