katikatA friend of mine on GR asked the author, Geoffrey Knight, about romance in his series. His response was:
Please, let it be Luca and Will, pleasepleaseplease! *crosses fingers* That would make me so happy. I mean, in book 1, they were the only ones on the team having sex together - it wasn't outright love, but genuine affection - the scene in the bathroom... 8) Please, let it be them, that would be perfect *crosses fingers even tighter*
Re: the romance thing... Patience will be rewarded!
There's a small romantic element to CROSS, but as with the whole series I have a much bigger plan taking place. In fact, there is a MAJOR romance that is slowly brewing with two of my characters (I won't tell you who). It's small in CROSS, gets a little stronger in RIDDLE, becomes very evident in THE CURSE OF THE DRAGON GOD... Then something happens in the fourth book to jeopardise everything... BUT - all will be ok in the end. In fact, in book 6 or 7 I'm going to have a gay wedding!
Yes, two of my boys will eventually get married!
