katikatI was clicking through some Smallville S8 eps when I came across this scene between Clark and Tess:
Did they seriously say that on the show? Like seriously? Did they even realize how that quote about betrayal and love could be taken? O.o
Clark: You don't know anything about my life.
Tess: If this is the way that you lied to Lex then I can see how it pushed him over the edge.
Clark: Lex was racing toward that drop-off way before he met me.
Tess: Yeah but betrayal... you know, the more you love someone, the harder it is.
