Fringe 101

katikatI finally started watching Fringe on DVD! And the pilot was much better the second time around!
I watched it with the audio commentaries by the execs and even though they mostly talked about what influenced their work - they talked a lot about Alias which wasn't my thing - there were some things that addressed exactly why the show didn't work for me the first time around, like Olivia being "cold". Even after everything she went through in the pilot, I didn't bond with her. I felt much more attached to Peter. And knowing where the show's headed, I'm now much more interested in it, especially in finding out more about Peter and why Walter's so obsessed with Peter's health. Also, Peter's a real cutie!
