Yay, I finally caught up on at least one series!

I loved the Ernie-Gordo banter. And Callen trusting Sam to take care of himself undercover. And Hetty - she's always awesome. "I have a guardian angel - she's tiny, but tough!" And the last part about Afghanistan and the Russian invasion and her "Oh, dear..." Ha!

Loved how worried Callen was about Sam. So far, we've mostly seen Sam worrying about Callen, now it's mostly the other way around. And, oh my, is Callen TINY next to Sam or what? Loved them playing paper basketball together! And I loved that Hetty hired the LA detective! Hehe!

You know, I really love how slashy this show is \o/

BTW, did anybody on my flist watch the Criminal Minds backdoor pilot? Was it any good?

Nope. At least IMO. The new team would be better suited as an undercover unit of active field operatives than as profilers and analysts. To me, they tried a bit too hard to make them "edgy and different".

Hand to Hand about KILLED me when G was all "Dude, TAKE. That. Other Guy. OUT." He really couldn't cope with the idea that someone just might get the drop on Sam because Sam is a fundamentally good guy and wouldn't want to cause undue damage if he could avoid it.

And yeah, as Sam grabs his shoulders it was the first time I went, "DAMN Sam's big!"

I'm also starting to notice that Sam's doing *a lot* more of the seriously planned out undercover stuff. LD50, Blood Brothers, Hand to Hand...

Yay shiny show. Now make fic. Go. Off with you... :)

I'm happy that they know their strengths, that they don't try to force Callen into roles that wouldn't fit him - like doing serious fighting.

And Sam really IS HUGE, isn't he? This is pushing so many buttons of mine! \o/
