Seriously? *sigh* ANOTHER love interest? First Kate, then Alex and now this? And in 6 episodes too? Seriously? I'm really allergic to the term "love interest". I'll try and keep an open mind, WhiCo hasn't really disappointed me yet, but... *sigh*

I've been allergic to the term "love interest" since I was a teenager. :-)

When I see romances on TV shows I usually feel like it's being done so the people watching can imagine themselves in the love interest's place.

Yeah. And I honestly dislike it that spoiler sites always gush about love interests and who will get paired up with whom, like they are talking about soap operas, not crime shows *sigh*

I don't mind the love interest angle- I think its clear that Neal will always put Peter and El above everyone else

I just... how can I take a character's role, what she does, seriously when it's secondary to her being a love interest, you know? I hope that the WhiCo writers will continue to be awesome, but honestly, until the very last ep, I quite disliked Alex, the way they forced the UST between them. They did the same with Cruz in the beginning. So when they say that this girl will be a love interest before she's even on the show...
