Wow, I cried my way through the ep, seriously.

No meaningful words, I'm just too stunned:

* Chuck was God, hah!
* Cas is alive! Bobby is alive!
* Sam's... wow! What's Sam, actually? O.o Is he alive? Is he still Lucifer?
* Poor Dean. Why do I think that without Sam, the family life won't be enough?

It broke my heart, literally. I'm glad that it's not the series finale! I just can't imagine Dean without Sam...

It broke my heart, and it was absolutely breath-takingly amazing. I need to watch it a second time because the first time through was too much of an emotional roller-coaster, since I was convinced at the beginning that the Impala would be destroyed. But no! The Impala saved the world! :D

Is it time for next season yet?

I bawled like a kid throughout the episode. Man, it broke my heart. And I'm so happy that it's not a series finale. That would have left me dissatisfied. As a season finale, it was a great cliffhanger! \o/

As a season finale, it was pitch-perfect. Although, at some points, it felt kind of like a series finale (mostly Chuck's story of the Impala and his narration at the end). If they hadn't gotten the sixth season, I don't think the finale would've been much different, except of course the end: either Sam would've been stuck with Adam/Michael and Lucifer (BAD ENDING), or else Sam would've somehow managed to separate himself from Lucifer (maybe with Michael's help?) and then the boys are happily ever after the end.

But I am so glad that there's a sixth season! Can't wait!

Hm, I think that if this was the series finale, Dean would've jumped into the pit with Sam, that Michael would have ended up in Dean and they would have both landed in the pit. I mean, there had to be a reason for why Michael promised Dean not to leave him brain-damaged.

YES. Then Chuck/God saves both Sam and Dean from the cage because, IDK, they martyred themselves with no contractual obligations to Hell but aren't dead, so no free ride to Heaven, just back to Earth. (Using the idea that martyr automatically = Heaven a la the movie Constantine.) Sam insists Dean go place house with LIsa, but Dean's like, "Bitch, get in the car," and they go off and keep hunting, the end.

...and then eventually become gods of hunters (a la American Gods) because I'm obsessed with that idea. :p

I wonder if Sam's rescue had something to do with Dean's amulet, if he has it with him? That would be quite a nice twist XP

Well, Castiel did say that Chuck's books become the "Winchester Gospel", so you might be on to something there! ;P

THE AMULET YES. No way did Sam not take that with him, no way. Oh, that would be so cool if he's saved, first, because of the Impala and, second, because of the amulet. Oh, Winchesters, exactly as co-dependent as everyone says.

Well, it's either the Gospel of These Guys Who Started and Then Ended the Apocalypse, or the Gospel of These Guys Who Then Became Gods. Granted, the second one? Way cooler.
