SPN's Mystery Spot, hands down. Come on, that episode was perfect. Action and horror and suspense and OMG THE BROTHERLY LOVE! That's what this show's about for me and that's why I still love it even though many people on my flist are giving up on it - as long as it has Sam and Dean being all brotherly, they could peel potatoes and I would be happy. And Mystery Spot was... \o/ It was all that time a billion! Maaaaaan, I need to watch the ep again!

You're not alone! I love Mystery Spot! It looks like whacky hi-jinks for the lols, then WHAM rips your heart out. It is funny AND plot-tastic AND heartbreaking AND practically standalone AND... well, basically it speaks to a lot of things for me. Kind of like Changing Channels but more heartbreaking-y. CC just sort of susprise! ending, but MS was OUCH implications implications.

Granted, as a fanfic reader, I may put more value on the permutations possible after MS. CC was almost purely whacky hi-jinks (except for the gameshow questions) so... I think I lost my point.

On the one hand, the story is really funny. But when you realize Sam's anguish, it's heart-breaking :'( The best of both, fun and angst, rolled in one!

I usually love the angsty ones - I didn't like Tall Tales or Ghostfacers much, for example - but MP was perfect, really!
