I choose a different nick, but it really depends on the site and what I want to upload. For example, on youtube my nick was taken, so I added a year, because I didn't wanted to upload my vids under different nick.

I had to do that yesterday when I got the nick I wanted on the website, but when I went to make an associated gmail account the nick was taken there. So I stuck as 12 on it, since I'd already gotten the other one. Gr, eh?

I usually use katikat or timotey, but when those don't work, it's katikatnik, because that one's definitely not taken :P I really like the Czech name Timotej *sigh*

You need another option in your poll. Something like "cry like a baby, throw a temper tantrum and vow to never use that website again". Because, yeah, that's what I'd do. :)

Hehe. I have one unique nick that's always free, but I don't like him all that much, to be perfectly honest. So I always try katikat or timotey first :P
