You know, I have to say that now that I'm watching White Collar with its amazingly smart dialogs, Psych is kinda hitting my embarrassment squick in places...
I didn't expect this episode to turn so... dark. Psych is mostly fluff and pink bunnies, so it's always surprising when there's more... substance, I would call it. I think that the whole thing with the guy on the phone was a set-up for upcoming episodes - or at least I hope so. It would be nice to have some over-reaching arc on the show.
Poor Robert Patrick, he's destined to play military guys XP
On the one hand, I understood Jules' reaction, on the other hand, as Gus told her, his parents had been accused of murder too! And Shawn did have good reasoning for his suspicions.
And Shawn and Abigail. I'm glad that this storyline is over. I never understood why he was dating her in the first place when all he could think of was Juliet. He never spent any real time with Abigail - that we saw - and when they were together, they didn't get along all that well. I actually felt sorry for her :(
Promo for 411.
