I think that this show's getting better and better with every season. It just seems that the actors, especially Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz are so incredibly comfortable with each other these days. It's a pleasure to watch them!

I loved the deputy. He was so funny, but also very smart. Not just another stupid comic relief. And I also loved the rancher woman - what an awesome, down-to-earth person! I loved all the extras in this episode.

The whole Angela-Wendel-Hodgins triangle... Meh, not really my thing. But was I the only one who expected Sweets to try and hug Hodgins in his office? And the poor thing, people really got used to simply barge into Sweets' office regardless of what he's doing!

And then Bones and Booth:
Booth: "I won't say anything about the scream if you don't say anything about the gun!"
Bones: "These terms are satisfactory."

And the star gazing. And them talking about cockroach-like aliens with an interest in anthropology. So, so cute! These two are definitely one of my favorite couple on TV!

I loved Sweets and Hodgins! Their interaction was the best part of the episode for me. I agree that season 5 has been very good so far. ^_^

It really has! The writers excel at stand-alone episodes but they suck at long-term plots!
