At first, I couldn't understand what people saw in McShep but then... My, oh my, did I fell in love with them or what? I love that the stories are usually full of snark and bickering and they just... click so perfectly for me.
Sheppard and Ronon are a different kind of hot. In SGA, I just loved the way Ronon always followed Sheppard with his eyes. That's why I loved Search and Rescue, 5x01! The way Ronon refused to leave Sheppard there, the way he refused to let Sheppard out of his eyes on the Wraith ship, the way he nudged McKay to ~say~ something when Sheppard was growing paler and paler and hurt-ier. Aww! And in EatG, when Sheppard absolutely refused to leave when they told him that Ronon was dead.
So, I like both pairings for different reasons. It's just too bad that there aren't more Sheppard/Ronon fics. I love variety.
