Second in the "After" series - and just as creepy, if not more, as the first one. This was basically a gay urban fantasy but it was more creepy and gory than your usual stuff, I don't even know why. Maybe because it was the main characters that were on the verge of falling for dark magic and did things like gutting a man alive or carrying a beating heart in a pocket? The thing is, you couldn't really blame Andrew for going dark because his decisions weren't bad per se - he was right, his grandfather wouldn't stop hunting them until they killed him for good, so what it lead up to was: Should they wait until he attacked and defend themselves or do a preemptive strike?

Interesting book, though the action could have been denser.
