Now, I normally enjoy mindless action flicks well enough but Transformers 1 was one of the most boring movies I have seen in my life. If the second is the same, I can seriously not understand the appeal of that story.
It surprised me, though, because I thought I would like it but I need some heart to connect to a movie and just didn't find any in it. I'll probably check this second one out eventually just to see if my mind changes.
If you didn't like the first movie, you should probably pass on the second. I'm estimating most of the folk, who find TF2 enjoyable/tolerable, also liked or found TF1 passable.
Personally, I'm stoked to see TF2 this weekend! :-D A spectacular trainwreck of awesome CGI effects, explosions, and almost no storyline cohesion. {chuckle} Eh, at least it's indoors to beat Florida heat versus going outside to experience fireworks.

An IMDB thread is saying TF2 has grossed 120mil worldwide.
