Castle 101

I'm very, very happy with Castle! Suspense, romance, quick humor, bickering...

I love Rick Castle and his family. His mother is nuts and his daughter is simply awesome! I love their relationship :)

Kate is great too! Her frustration with Castle! The way she looked like she wanted strangle him half the time! And her team stood by and enjoyed their bickering. Hehe! The look she gave him when her captain told her that Castle would be riding with her! So funny!

And the case was actually quite interesting too, not just some crazy whacko, but a guy with an actual motive!

All in all, I liked it a lot. Very much, indeed! \o/

Ratings: 10.76 mil., 3.0/8 demo - unfortunately, that's not even 50% retention out of DWTS, which isn't good. On the other hand, it's ABC's best regular Monday performance at 10pm in a year and a half, so...

Castle is fantastic. I really like Nathan Fillion, he is quirky and he manages to be the charming know-it-all without being obnoxious. And he's so funny! That scene with handcuffs cracked me up. Also "the safety was on the entire time!" hee! I love how his daughter is the responsible one in the family. ^______^

I liked the detective too, that thing the other officer said about her, "control freak faced with someone she couldn't control", very true and, again, not overdone. I am very pleased with the pilot. <3
