Bones 4x07

katikatThis was definitely my favorite episode of this season and I love the writers and execs for tackling this topic!
The boy's crisis of faith? It's exactly what drove me away from church. We are all God's children - but only as far as we follow the church's orders. The church isn't the personification of God. God loves everybody, as they preach, so we should try and open our hearts for people who are different and not call them abominations.
I love Bones for doing this episode. For once, faith as portrayed on this show didn't grate, it was nicely shown that there's church and then there's church. I loved the transgender reverend and I loved her son, his reaction when he found out about his father. It was the most beautiful scene in the whole episode. It really struck a chord within me.
Other things:
- I love Cam more and more!
- I loved the new intern and him not wanting to be anything like them, thank you very much XP
- Ha, Sweets won a bet!
- Though Booth really got on my nerves from time to time. They should really tone down his immature behavior a bit. Bones and he are like a mother with a brat.
- I adored the last scene in the church!
